Greetings, TCS is looking for Mainframe Developer. Experience: 5 - 9 Years Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education (10th, 12th and Graduation) Location: Chennai Notice period:- Immediate joiners/ 30 days. Requirements & Skills: 6 to 12 years of working experience in Mainframe (Cobol) Development and Maintenance Skillset : COBOL, JCL (Microfocus Optional) Database : DB2/SQL Server (Optional - IMS) Concepts : Checkpoint restart (DB2/IMS), GSAM file processing Knowledge on batch scheduler and batch flow processing (preferred - Control-M scheduler). Worked in online transaction flow, performed debug and analysis of abends to find root cause Able to troubleshoot issues, perform deep dive analyses on the call flow across multiple Cobol programs, perform development/code corrections and test/debug COBOL programs. Awareness to .Net technologies will be added advantage Good understanding on Agile/Scrum model Please Note:- We do have Virtual Interview Drive as on 27th November 2025 ( Thrusday ).
