We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong proficiency in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and a good working knowledge of CICS. hands-on development and maintenance experience in mainframe environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and CICS.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable and scalable solutions.
  • Debug and resolve production issues within SLAs, ensuring minimal business disruption.
  • Work closely with BA, QA, and other developers to ensure quality delivery.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
  • Support application deployments, provide post-deployment support, and document processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ Years hands-on experience in Mainframe development.
  • Strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, and JCL.
  • Working knowledge of CICS (command level programming, debugging, etc.).
  • Experience in batch and online processing.
  • Good understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile or Waterfall).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
