Job Description :


We are seeking a skilled Linux / Ethernet Device Driver Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a crucial member of our team, you will play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of Ethernet device drivers for Linux-based systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Linux kernel development and expertise in Ethernet networking protocols.


Responsibilities :


- Driver Development : Design, implement, and maintain Ethernet device drivers for Linux kernel. Ensure compatibility with various hardware platforms and architectures.


- Kernel Debugging and Optimization : Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Ethernet drivers. Optimize driver performance and resolve bottlenecks.


- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, firmware developers, and software architects. Work closely with QA teams to ensure the reliability and stability of the drivers.


- Linux Kernel Upgrades : Stay updated on the latest Linux kernel releases and incorporate relevant changes into the Ethernet drivers. Adapt drivers to meet new kernel interfaces and requirements.


- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed drivers. Provide documentation for troubleshooting and integration.


- Code Review : Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code. Collaborate with team members to enhance code quality and adherence to coding standards.


- Testing : Develop and execute test plans for Ethernet drivers. Conduct performance testing and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.


- Compliance : Ensure drivers comply with industry standards and certifications. Stay informed about changes in networking protocols and standards.


Qualifications :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.


- Proficient in C programming language.


- Experience on Embedded software and linux kernel.


- Experience working on Ethernet and DMA applications or drivers.


- Excellent C/C++ skills.


- Good communication skills.


- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
