Problem Statement / Objectives:


  • HPE is looking for burst capacity to support testing of localization changes related to SAP BRIM across a set of SaaS offers
  • Testing includes functional requirements across Quote to Cash: quoting, pricing, ordering, billing/invoicing, tax, revenue recognition (with a heavy focus on billing through revenue)
  • The countries HPE is looking to expand its SaaS footprint via SAP BRIM include: India, Israel, Portugal, Poland, Mexico, Columbia, Chile, Peru, Turkey, and Greece
  • As localization is put in play in key processes and systems, validation must ensure accuracy, compliance, and conformance to expected outcomes (e.g. validating local e-invoicing processes are working with local government standards)

Skills & Activities:


  • Familiarity with SAP/BRIM testing
  • Background in key financial domains and testing: financial reporting, tax, revenue recognition, etc.
  • Understanding of core Quote to Cash, Billing, and Revenue Management processes
  • Ability to ingest test scenarios, clarify expected outcomes, and execute process and system validation with minimal direct HPE oversight
  • Ability to communicate with local controllership and operations in target countries to resolve local scenario issues
  • Recommend future test automation as an outcome of current test execution
  • "Hands on keys" execution of test scripts and cases
  • Log defects / issues with accurate descriptions of test results
  • Support issue triage and routing to correct HPE resolver group (code issue, data setup, knowledge transfer issues)

Operating Model:


  • HPE SMEs and leaders in Operations and Finance are US based; US project leads can co-locate to collaborate on test scenarios and get clarity
  • HPE testers and operations personnel largely based in Mexico and India; project execution staff would be well suited to align accordingly
  • It is expected that HPE can provide guidance in US time zone to project lead, who can convey and manage execution globally
