Job Description:
As a Freelance IT Business Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT sector. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Utilize various channels such as cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals to identify potential clients and generate leads.
Prospecting: Research and qualify prospects to understand their IT needs, challenges, and opportunities for solutions.
Sales Presentations: Conduct engaging and persuasive presentations to prospects, showcasing our IT solutions and services tailored to their specific requirements.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the technical team to create customized proposals and quotes that address client needs and objectives.
Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiation efforts to secure profitable contracts and close deals within defined timelines.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for business growth.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to the management team.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in IT sales or business development, preferably in a freelance capacity.
Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating leads and closing deals.
Ability to work independently and remotely, managing own schedule and priorities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
