Must-Have

Oracle DB Administration, Oracle RAC, ASM, Oracle Data Guard, Backup and Restoration, RMAN, DB upgradation, Patch Management, Incident Management.

Good-to-Have

Oracle Exadata, Shell scripting, MySQL, Basic Knowledge of OS and Commands.

Background

Must Have In-Depth Hands On Knowledge on Oracle Database, Backups and Recovery Procedures, Monitoring of Databases, Oracle RAC and Oracle DG, Performance Tuning and Fault Finding.

Others

Oracle Certifications like OCP. Knowledge on Configuring Backup Management Software like Veritas, Legato etc will be added advantage.

In Depth Of OS and OS Certifications will be added advantage.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Installation And Configuration Of Oracle Databases (Standalone / RAC)

Replication of the Oracle Databases, Setting Up and managing fully functional Disaster Recovery Sites, Preparing And Employing Business Contingency Plan.

Performance Management, Patch Management, Incident Management and reporting the same to higher authorities.

Monthly Database Growth / Problem / Performance Metrics, Conducting Database Security Audits and Preparing Reports.

Conduct and be part of Knowledge Transfer & Knowledge Sharing Sessions
