About the Team This team is part of Merchant Solution group and involved in continuous development of an European omni-channel and acquiring payment solution – connecting and simplifying payments across all your sales channels, whether in-store, online or mobile. The product offers a secure end to end payment processing by bringing together Point of Sale, integrated payments and acquiring into one complete service. It has a capability of handling funds, managing charges & settlement across multiple currencies and caters to Merchants from multiple geographies. It services both SMB as well as Enterprise level merchants. This is a highly scalable platform that handles millions of transactions per day.What you will do:Developing Software using Java 8, REST and Spring Boot, ensuring 100% Junit coverage, and adhering to quality standards measured by Quality Gate like Sonar Qube, Checkmarx and BlackduckDeveloping and maintaining automated test suites for Java8/REST API software module using automation frameworks like Karate/TestNG includingDeveloping Database automation for Java 8 /REST software module using DBFit or equivalentCollaborating with development teams to understand software requirements and design appropriate test cases and scenarios.Analyzing test results and identifying defects or areas for improvement, working closely with developers to resolve issues.Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment.

What you bring:Strong proficiency in Java 8 programming language, with experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot framework.3-6 years of experience as SDETSolid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience in QA automation using frameworks like Karate, TestNG, or similar.Proficiency in writing and executing automated tests for web services and APIs, including functional and integration testing.Basic knowledge of Oracle database concepts and SQL queries for data validation and verification.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of improvement.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies and tools in the field of software testing and automation.
