About School Improvement Program (SIP) - SIP was conceived to enhance the quality of education imparted in government schools. SIP focuses on Foundational Literacy, Numeracy & English language, WASH and need-based infrastructure support to improve overall learning outcomes. SIP is implemented in 100 government schools in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.
About the Role - We are hiring an expert in teaching and pedagogy design. As a Deputy Manager, you will oversee the development of a top-notch pedagogy for Foundational Literacy and Numeracy and English Language (FLN&EL), train teachers and support in imparting FLN&EL education in Government schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Location - Hyderabad (The candidate will have to visit schools in the Vizag, Srikakulam districts of Andhra Pradesh).
Responsibilities
Develop and refine pedagogy and course content for FLN&EL
Train teachers on pedagogy and content
Monitor and support teachers in organising FLN&EL sessions for classes V and VI
Develop assessments to measure student progress
Update the course content promptly to match the best standards
Supervising implementation and mentoring teachers to ensure the effective delivery of classes
Holding review meetings to assess progress, and tackle concerns
Analyse data on teacher and student performance and refine plans
Represent the organisation at relevant forums, conferences and meetings
Educational Qualification - Master of Education (M.Ed)
Experience - A minimum of 4 years of experience working on teaching, pedagogy design, FLN&EL content and assessment
