Windchill Support Sr Consultant

Job location – Pan India

Joining time – Immediate

Exp – 8-20 yrs

Qualification-BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech

  • Performing Lifecycle, workflows defined for the design release process.
  • Assist users with CAD file management, including check-in/check-out procedures, workspace issues, attribute management, and revision control within Windchill, ensuring compliance with proper versioning and documentation processes.
  • Configure and change the versioning scheme and autonumbering Using OIR.
  • Experienced in collaborating with global teams, providing technical solutions, and ensuring the alignment of IT systems with engineering requirements.
  • Strong knowledge in data integrity, version control, and CAD data management within Windchill, ensuring proper access permissions and data consistency across teams.
  • Provide L1 technical support for end-users, resolving basic to intermediate issues related to CAD integration, Windchill PLM functionality, system configuration, and workflow issues such as process delays, incomplete tasks, and status updates.
  • Type and Attribute management: Creating and editing the layouts for managing the page UI.
  • Working on MPM link TO create PPL, CC Creations project, Migration QAD to WC project.
  • Manage user preferences, providing personalized options for system behaviour such as email notifications, task alerts, and document display formats to enhance the user experience and productivity in Windchill.
  • Manage user accounts, access control (ACLs), and permissions for CAD and PLM systems to maintain security and data integrity, including creating and managing role groups and adjusting their privileges to fit organizational policies.
  • Conducted user training sessions and created documentation to improve Windchill adoption and proficiency among plant teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect business requirements, analyze them, and develop high-level, effective solutions that meet business goals.
  • Conduct solution assessments to evaluate PLM architecture and identify potential improvements that support strategic business objectives.
  • Document and define specifications for both functional and technical components, acting as the primary liaison between business units and IT.
  • Windchill PDMLink Solutions Implementing and Support experience
  • Should have strong technical experience on PTC Windchill PLM products.
  • Should be able to manage teams working in remote locations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Behaviors / Personal qualities Deep and broad knowledge in architectural and analytical thinking,
  • Ability to lead and influence customers
