As an Android Framework Developer, you'll design and develop Android framework components and services for automotive platforms. What You Will Do 1. Headless Service Development: Design and develop headless services for communication components. 2. AIDL Interface Development: Design and develop AIDL interfaces between UI and headless applications. 3. Android Framework Development: Design and develop Android framework components and HAL services for automotive platforms. 4. Performance Optimization: Measure and optimize component performance to meet automotive KPIs. 5. Collaboration: Work with user concept teams to bring product-based design concepts and with multi-location teams to integrate customer-centric Android apps. 6. Full Stack Development: Perform full-stack Android development, including learning and adapting to new technologies. What You Need to Be Successful 1. Android Framework Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Android framework and services development. 2. AOSP/AAOS Expertise: Solid expertise in AOSP, AAOS, and Android framework and services. 3. Multimedia Experience: Experience with multimedia services, including audio and video. 4. AIDL Interface Design: Experience with AIDL interface design and implementation. 5. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and Linux. Bonus Points if You Have 1. Automotive Experience: Experience with automotive-grade Android platforms. 2. Automotive Protocols: Knowledge of automotive protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. 3. Other Programming Languages: Familiarity with other programming languages like Python or C#. 4. Android Certification: Certification in Android or related technologies. What Makes You Eligible 1. Relevant Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Android framework development. 2. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in Android framework, AIDL interfaces, and multimedia services. 3.
