Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Blockchain Researcher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in researching, designing, and developing cutting-edge solutions for networking, protocol security, and scalability. You will have the opportunity to deep dive into various blockchain protocols and contribute to our blog with articles that make complex technical concepts accessible to a broader audience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research on blockchain protocols, networking, and security to identify challenges and opportunities for innovation.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure solutions for protocol networking and security.
  • Create simulations to test, validate, and optimize protocol and network solutions.
  • Contribute to the DeFcor blog by writing articles that explain complex blockchain technologies and our solutions in an accessible and engaging manner.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain technology and incorporate best practices into our solutions.
  • Contribute to the open-source community and participate in relevant discussions.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure the seamless integration of research findings and solutions into our products.
  • Prepare informative research reports and presentations to communicate your findings to the DeFcor team and potentially the wider DeFi community.


Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in blockchain research, specifically in staking, EigenLayer, Optimistic, Rollup and Zk-Rollup.
  • Active involvement and keen interest in Restaking and AVS.
  • Proficiency in Solidity and Golang.
  • Strong knowledge and active interest in the Bitcoin ecosystem.
  • Demonstrate strong passion advocacy for Web3 and its principles with a drive to continuously learn and innovate
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable and engaging manner for blog posts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
