About the role

As an RGP Consultant, you will be working with our Automotive Industry-based client & work will be required to work from the Client's office in Bangalore - Bidadi, India . All 5 days Work from the Office

Key Project Management Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in technical project/program management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in:
  • Enterprise Program Management
  • Agile & Waterfall Project Delivery
  • Enterprise Platforms (.NET, Java, SQL Server, Oracle DB)
  • Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Microservices & API Management
    • Exceptional skills in communication, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and conflict resolution.
    • Ability to manage high-pressure scenarios, proactively handle escalations, and prioritize delivery.
    • Proven capability in collaborating with business teams to translate functional needs into technical outcomes.
    • Demonstrated experience working on IT projects supporting manufacturing, production, logistics, or dealer operations within the automotive industry.
    • Preferred to have exposure to automotive industry practices and familiarity with Japanese corporate culture.
    • Preferred if the candidate has demonstrated skills in:
    • Root cause analysis and corrective action (RCA)
    • Strategic planning and roadmap alignment
    • Mentoring and upskilling team members
    • Preferred to have a very good understanding of Client-specific processes and end-to-end dealership operations covering:
    • Presales (inquiry, lead, booking management)
    • Sales (retail, wholesale, invoicing, vehicle delivery)
    • Service (RO, Service status, Invoicing)
    • Repurchase (exchange, buyback, and used car process flows)
      • Own and lead enterprise system initiatives supporting both existing operations and new business requirements.
      • Interface with business divisions to understand functional needs, convert them into technical solutions, and drive delivery from concept to completion.
      • Coordinate with internal system owners, operations teams, vendor partners, and external affiliates (including other Client entities).
      • Oversee the implementation of large-scale IT solutions, including application upgrades, cloud adoption, system modernizations, and integrations.
      • Manage project execution using Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies based on project need.
      • Track milestones, proactively identify risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery using project and program management tools.
      • Drive continuous improvement in system availability, incident resolution, and support structure for production systems.
      • Facilitate technical leadership on modern enterprise architecture: .NET/Java platforms, SQL/Oracle DBs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, and microservices.
      • Facilitate cross-functional planning meetings, ensure documentation is updated, and support post-implementation reviews.
      • Support digital transformation roadmaps and drive innovation aligned with Client's IT vision.
      • Have experience managing projects in the automotive domain involving production systems, logistics, supplier collaboration, or dealer management.

Qualifications

Education details: Engineering or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science / IT or related stream.
