The Senior Staff Analog IC Design Engineer will work on the design of sophisticated Power Management IC products like Point of loads, PMICs which address a wide range of server, notebook, PC and industrial applications. We are looking for a person who possesses a mix of technical expertise in

Analog IC design

, passion and experience to build new products starting from specs and taking all the way to Production and strong communication skills. Full chip design experience & silicon debug experience are expected for this role. Experience of

Power Management IC design

/ knowledge of

Power converters architecture, Full Power IC design experience (starting from specifications) and Silicon debug experience

are must requirements for this role.

Qualifications

The engineer will participate in all stages of product design, drive design and development and support productization. Primary responsibilities include:Design and Development of Power Management Products with emphasis on

switching converters – Buck, Boost, Buck-BoostIC architecture including top-down budgeting, control loop design, efficiency estimation and optimization etc to meet the overall performance requirements.Responsible for

Analog IC design

for blocks like

OpAmps, Comparators, Oscillators, Bandgap References, LDOs

and layout supervision through all stages of IC development including design closureWork with system team for

converter modelling, test-plan preparationWork with layout engineers on IC floorplan and integration of analog, ESD and digitalConduct IC design reviews, layout reviews and provide regular design updates through documentation and presentationsUnderstand and implement design and layout methodologies which will meet company and industry standards for product reliability and yieldPost-silicon debug and support system characterizationAssist test, operations and application teams during productizationExperience in the following areas is mustKnowledge of

Power converter architectures – Buck, Boost

Analog design
