Job Description – Senior Cloud Software Engineer Location: Bangalore, India Reports to: Director of Software Engineering About One Hub POS One Hub POS is building next-generation restaurant and retail POS systems for the U. S. market. Our platform integrates POS, kiosks, KDS, payments, and digital signage to deliver seamless customer experiences. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer to play a critical role in scaling our cloud platform, driving Dev Ops automation, and shaping our modern front-end stack. --- Key Responsibilities ● Cloud Architecture & Development ○ Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud services on AWS/GCP/Azure. ○ Implement microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures to support POS and Io T-like workloads. ○ Optimize cloud costs, performance monitoring, and fault tolerance. ● Dev Ops & CI/CD ○ Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Helm, or equivalent tools. ○ Lead CI/CD pipeline design and implementation for faster, reliable releases. ○ Improve observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). ● Frontend Engineering ○ Build and optimize responsive, performant web front-ends using React/Next.js, Type Script, Tailwind, and modern tooling. ○ Collaborate with design/product to deliver intuitive UIs for management consoles, dashboards, and reporting tools. ● Collaboration & Leadership ○ Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices across cloud, Dev Ops, and frontend. ○ Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time releases. ○ Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to keep One Hub POS ahead of the curve. --- Qualifications ● 6–10 years of software engineering experience, with strong exposure to cloud, Dev Ops, and frontend. ● Proven expertise in AWS/GCP/Azure, microservices, serverless, containers (Docker, Kubernetes). ● Strong programming skills in Java Script/Type Script, Node.js, Python, or Go. ● Hands-on experience with React/Next.js or similar modern frontend frameworks. ● Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code. ● Solid grasp of cloud security, scalability, and distributed systems design. ● Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills. --- Nice to Have ● Experience in payment systems, POS, or retail technology. ● Knowledge of edge computing or Android/Linux device management. ● Familiarity with AI/ML integrations into cloud platforms. --- Why Join Us?● Opportunity to build and scale a cloud platform impacting thousands of restaurants and retailers. ● Work with a cutting-edge technology stack across cloud, Dev Ops, and frontend. ● Collaborative, high-growth environment with global exposure. ● Competitive compensation and career growth opportunities. ---
