Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role also involves participating in technical research and development to drive continuous innovation within our infrastructure.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure system hardware, operating systems, and related procedures adhere to customer security requirements and configuration management.

Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operating systems.

Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.

Maintain systems documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.

Research and recommend hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery, including familiarity with backup and restore mechanisms.

Develop and monitor policies and standards for the allocation of computing resources.

Administer a Windows domain, utilizing:

Active Directory

Group Policy

McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator

SCCM

PowerShell scripting

Develop and oversee the implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.

Provide advice and training to end-users.

Stay current with relevant technologies as assigned.

Use VMware to build and maintain virtual machines.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience.

Qualifications:

At least 5+ years of related systems engineering experience in systems administration and analysis.

Must hold an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly Clearance.

Experience administering VMWare in a Windows and Linux environment.
