Full-Stack Engineer (6-Month Contract Only)

We're specifically seeking candidates with 3+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js.

Pay Scale: $10-$12 / Per Hour

Location: India (Remote)


We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join our team and play a key role in creating transformative learning tools for learners globally. In this role, you will collaborate closely with skilled engineers, designers, and product managers to oversee the entire lifecycle of our educational technology applications. This position offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in all areas of software development—from crafting engaging user interfaces to developing robust server-side code.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with development and design teams to construct intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces while also delivering solid back-end functionalities.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code across various front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end languages (Python, Java, NodeJS, etc.).
  • Create innovative proofs of concept and prototypes to encourage cutting-edge ideas.
  • Engage in code reviews and refine coding practices for front-end and back-end work.
  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of reusable components throughout the codebase.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings and Agile practices.
  • Keep up with the latest advancements in front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Continuously enhance your technical skills through training and collaborative efforts.


Qualifications:


  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of full-stack development experience, showcasing skills in both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental web development principles, including DOM manipulation, JavaScript functions, and browser compatibility, as well as basic database interaction, APIs, and server-side logic.
  • Proficiency with common front-end tools like React, Babel, Webpack, ESLint, and modern package managers.
  • Familiarity with essential development tools such as Git, code editors, and command-line interfaces.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A passion for continuous learning and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience with Java-based microservices; familiarity with Python or NodeJS-based microservices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in one or more database types such as graph, NoSQL, or relational databases.


Bonus Points:


   • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.

   • Experience contributing to open-source projects.
