Data Scientist- Medical Imaging AI

Summary
We seek an experienced Data Scientist with a proven track record in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and a demonstrated focus on Multi-Modal Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our cutting-edge Imaging Data Science team. You will be pivotal in developing and deploying innovative real-world AI solutions that drive real-world impact. We prefer candidates who have worked in the Medical Imaging space (CT, MRI, DAT Scans, etc).
Responsibilities
- LLM Development and Fine-tuning: Fine-tune, customize, and adapt multi-modal and/or image-based large language models (e.g., GPT, Llama2, Mistral, etc.) for specific business applications. Experience in Neural Networks is a must.
- Solution Design: Design, build, and deploy machine learning, deep learning, and large language models for various Medical Image detection, classification, and segmentation tasks.
- Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to develop efficient data pipelines, ensuring the quality and integrity of large-scale image datasets used for AI, LLM training, and fine-tuning.
- Experimentation and Evaluation: Develop rigorous experimentation frameworks to evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform model selection.
- Production Deployment: Work closely with MLOps and Data Engineering teams to integrate Imaging models into scalable production systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, domain experts, and stakeholders to understand business needs and drive the successful implementation of Imaging models.
- Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior team members and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Imaging models.
- Experience in movement disorders, and degenerative neurological conditions will be an added advantage
Qualifications Required:
- Ph.D. and M.Tech (Res) in Computer Science and Automation
- M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence
- M. Tech/Ph.D/M Tech (Research) in Computational and Data Science
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models.
- At least 12 months of in-depth experience working with Imaging Large Language Models.
- Proficiency in Python and neural networks (CNN, etc)
- Experience working with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
