We ensure each touch is relevant for them and generates value for you. CDH provides Next-Best-Action recommendations in real-time, using the customer’s current context. Those recommendations are always relevant, timely, and consistent - regardless of whether the interaction happens on inbound, outbound, owned, or paid channels. This team mostly works on inbound channel related features, as a team high emphasis is given to architecture and designs while also enhancing application maturity.

This position is part of the scrum team Spearheads working primarily on the experience to carry out business-as-usual changes. The team is responsible for implementing cutting-edge user interfaces and applying Pega’s case management best practices. High emphasis is given to architecture and technical designs while also enhancing application maturity. The solution, Pega 1:1 Operations Manager application, is a module of Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH Pega Customer Decision Hub product overview). This is a unique opportunity to help business quickly adopt and implement changes to their CDH implementation solutions by leveraging the power Artificial Intelligence, Marketing features, Pega Platform and Case Management capability. Per Gartner and Forrester reports, we have been consistently rated very strong in our product offerings and strategy. Customer Decision Hub has significantly evolved in the recent areas and caters to some of the most complex to simple use cases that Organizations expect for their CRM operations. As a software engineer, you would be responsible for delivering high quality solutions to the given problems/user stories, maintaining, and upkeeping the features of the product by planning the design strategies and putting them into action, prioritizing, planning, and developing the user stories and tasks, using Pega technology and framework and maintaining them. Being a top-notch software engineer, you would require lots of creative thinking to provide excellent design and development solutions to the given problems with maintaining good speed and quality.

What You'll Do at Pega:

Design, develop, test, maintain and improve the product capabilities using Pega Platform and Customer Decision Hub (Note: There is no Java development). Work as part of collaborative team, surrounded by passionate, fun loving, talented engineers who work to deliver high quality features with very high efficiency. Deliver high quality software with minimal defects that conforms with suggested design patterns and best practices. Provide inputs to the design documents, API Docs etc. Take ownership of designing and implementing a story and drive it to completion. Understand and follow DevOps practices and execute the given tasks. Provide effort and time estimates to complete work. Contribute to development of test framework and write/execute various type of testcases (Unit/Contract etc). Provide constructive feedback on work items and artifacts through code reviews, retrospectives, design reviews and so on. Follow scrum practices and report the status, progress and impediments in the timely fashion. Continuously look for opportunities to learn and improve skills.

Who You Are:

You are software engineer with experience in design and development of largescale Pega centric enterprise systems. You have strong knowledge and experience in Object oriented programming and additionally experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML are highly desired You are a skilled software engineer, who can explore best practices, understand requirements, and write good quality code quickly. You enjoy exploring latest developments and best practices in software industry and apply them at work. You have Agile/Scrum development methodology experience You take constructive feedback with open mind and work to continuously improve yourself. You are a self-starter, a self-learner, good mentor and people leader. You are pro-active to take work and to explore new areas. You are very good at verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

What You've Accomplished:

4-7 years of Pega development experience, preferably in a product development company. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field. Ability to work collaboratively in a team to brainstorm, plan and develop new features. CSA and CSSA certification is an advantage Strong understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Practices. Solid understanding of, and practical experience with DevOps and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Practical Knowledge of and/or willingness to work as per Agile/Scrum methodologies.
