Know more: Role Summary: We are looking for energetic individuals to join our team of passionate engineers, builders and creators to tackle the challenges of building a more sustainable food system. As part of the mechanical engineering team, your role will involve creating innovative equipment that help advance processing technologies from initial concept to bench scale to scale them to full production. Responsibilities: Conceptualize, design and develop novel food equipment from prototyping to production scale. Participate in product and process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce production costs. Develop material characterization equipment and quality control tools to support product development and maintain quality standards Perform engineering calculations, CAD designs, simulations, and analysis to ensure the structural integrity and performance of mechanical components Support scaling up bench-top equipment to production scale. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Requirements: B. Tech / DD / M. Tech / MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Design, and Applied Mechanics and related fields Minimum 3 years of experience in New Product Development (NPD), Machine Design, and/or Complex assembly design, and simulation Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Auto CAD) and FEA analysis tools. Proficient in GD& T, DFM, DFA, and understanding of manufacturing machines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Python, Arduino/C++, Raspberry Pi, and/or PLCs is a plus. Identify strongly with the company’s mission, are driven by curiosity and have a collaborative spirit.
