Primary Responsibilities

The Cloud Solutions Architect position focuses on architecting solutions for cloud environments leveraging hyperscale platforms. You will be responsible for defining and executing the technical architecture of cloud solutions catering to global enterprise customers.

Requirements

Proficient in cloud technologies, particularly with at least two hyperscale platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and OCI).Innovative and self-motivated with a customer-centric approach.Visionary in designing cloud-native solutions.Comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Cloud service governance.Collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams.Hands-on, getting into details, and possibly writing demo / proof-of-concept code.Already broadly capable in architect roles, with plenty of hands-on experience.

You will collaborate closely with the Head of Product Engineering, Chief Technology Officer, Software Development Leaders, Program Managers, SCRUM Masters, and UX Designers.

Responsibilities

Defining and driving the technical architecture of cloud solutions.Architecting technical solutions, ensuring the design and implementation of distributed applications, Databases and Cloud APIs.Developing high-level technical specifications and designs for cloud-based platforms.Establishing a technical product roadmap to enhance cloud solutions continuously.Effectively communicating technical concepts and guidelines to development teams.Advocating and ensuring the use of best-in-class architectural practices in cloud solutions.

Qualifications

8 to 15 years of experience in software product development, with a significant portion dedicated to hands-on enterprise software development.Experience in developing and hosting PaaS or SaaS-based products/platforms on multiple hyperscale cloud platforms.AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI tech-certifications and/or other external, industry recognized certifications in architecture or IT.Demonstrated expertise in developing enterprise-grade software products that are scalable and integrable.Experience working on tools (AppDynamics, Datadog) and integration solutions.Ability to mentor and train team members in architecture and design principles.Strong background in architectural patterns and anti-patterns.Experience in evaluating technology tools and conducting technical proof-of-concept applications.Familiarity with multiple technology stacks, including data analytics technologies.Proficiency in Python and experience with REST services.Hands-on experience with MongoDB and cloud concepts.Experience with database management and microservices is desirable.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
