We are looking for a skilled and experienced Game Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in shaping our games and helping us expand our portfolio into the exciting world of hybrid casual genre games. If you are passionate about creating engaging and immersive gaming experiences, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

- Design and conceptualize gameplay mechanics, levels, and systems for mobile games, with a particular focus on the puzzle genre.- Create and maintain detailed game design documentation, including game mechanics, rules, and balance.- Prototype, iterate, and playtest game mechanics to ensure they are enjoyable and meet the design objectives.- Design and build levels, script gameplay elements, and perform other design tasks required for game tuning and balancing.- Take concepts from initial one-pagers to complete game designs, collaborating with the team throughout the process.- Create new game features and enhancements to drive user acquisition, retention, and monetization.- Develop competitive social systems and reward structures for games.- Assist the product team in implementing design changes to achieve game KPIs.- Review game design documentation, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.- Maintain clear communication with Art, Tech, QA, and Production teams to align on the design direction of the game.- Participate in prototype efforts to refine design concepts.- Present new game concepts, designs, and stories to the executive leadership team and stakeholders.- Stay updated on market trends and incorporate them into design strategies.

Requirements:

- 3 plus years of professional game design experience, with a proven track record of designing and launching mobile games.- Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in designing and launching games in the puzzle genre with a strong focus on level design.- Strong familiarity with board games, including classics like D&D, and a passion for game mechanics and strategy.

Qualification:

- Proficiency in game design software and tools.- A degree in Game Design or a related field from a formal Design school is a plus- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Creative thinking and a deep passion for gaming and a thorough understanding of commercial appeal.- Positive attitude, self-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Good to have:

- Creative writing skills- Coding/prototyping skills
