Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer (Geospatial Visualization)

Experience: 5-7 Years

Location: Noida, On-Site

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Engineer to join our core team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and building the high-performance, map-centric interfaces with massive geospatial datasets to create intuitive, powerful tools for traffic simulation and network editing. The ideal candidate is passionate about pushing the boundaries of browser-based visualization and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities


• Build and maintain high-performance map interfaces using and React.


• Integrate and MapLibre for advanced geospatial visualizations.


• Work with DuckDB-Wasm for in-browser querying of large GeoParquet datasets.


• Implement lane-level network editing tools with undo/redo functionality.


• Optimize performance for large datasets (traffic flow, speed, queue length, etc.).


• Design intuitive UI/UX for traffic simulation and urban planning tools.


• Collaborate with backend team to integrate APIs and data pipelines.


• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills


• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.


• and modern React (hooks, etc.).


• Geospatial visualization with , MapLibre, and GeoJSON/GeoArrow.


• Strong understanding of SQL, DuckDB, and spatial queries.


• Experience with performance optimization for browser-based heavy data apps.


• Familiarity with WebGL rendering pipelines and geospatial concepts.


• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have


• Experience with SUMO traffic simulation data or similar.


• Knowledge of TypeScript and scalable frontend architecture.


• Understanding of urban planning / transportation networks.


• Prior work with binary geospatial formats and vector tile pipelines.
