Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in DevOps/Platform engineering and expertise in CI/CD lifecycle, Java, GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Bonus points for experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.

Job Specifications:

• Proven experience in DevOps/Platform engineering.• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.• Proficiency in Java programming.• Hands-on experience with GitLab and Jenkins.• Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.• Solid experience with infrastructure as code, specifically using Terraform.• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.• Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Skills -• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.• Proficiency in Python.• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.• Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Jenkins.• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and address any issues promptly.• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and environmental configurations.• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.
