Skills Provision is searching for Knitwear Programmers for a company that operates out of the Veneto region in northern Italy.
The employing company prides itself on the production of excellent products whilst being environmentally responsible.
Title: Knitwear Programmers

Location: Veneto region of Italy
Pay Rate
€2500 per month net based on a 40-hour week.
The Role
The primary focus of this role is programming Shima Seiki machines (gg 3-14, regular, intarsia) using APEX III and IV for a fashion house, which produces high-end woman collections. Moving from developing stitches and models from sketches through to the management of the knitting machines for the production.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience on brand name knitting programs: Shima Seiki on Apex III
- Minimum B1 Level English language skills, Italian would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Excel, computer system
- Able to develop stitches and models from sketches and take these through to production
- Team player
- Adaptable problem solver
- Keen eye for detail
