System Engineer

Main Duties:
The Systems Engineer will manage and support high-performance computing environments, including specialized workstations, servers, storage systems, and networks, with a focus on post-production or DI settings. They will handle technical issues, improve support services, and ensure end-user satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting root cause analysis for system faults.- Managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.- Creating technical documentation.- Tuning systems for performance, scalability, and high availability.
Required Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience in technology support, particularly in video/audio standards and post-production workflows. They should be able to follow best practices and work independently under stress. Required skills include:
- Support for software like Baselight & DaVinci Resolve.- Understanding of digital intermediate processes in post-production.- Experience with monitor calibration in color bays.- Networking knowledge (IPs, VLANs, Firewalls, Netgear, FortiGate).- Experience with server/PC hardware, including custom builds and upgrades.- Proficiency in Linux (CentOS/RHEL), Windows, and macOS.- Knowledge of storage solutions (RAID, NAS, SAN).
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in post-production environments is a must.
