What you will do :

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in LAMP and Node JS to join our dynamic team. The candidate should have a solid understanding of backend development principles and architecture, along with hands-on experience in building scalable and efficient server-side applications.

As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust backend solutions that meet our business requirements and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with 3 to 5 years of professional experience working with the LAMP stack.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients to gather requirements and provide updates.

- Strong proficiency in PHP, database management systems (e.g. MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and experience with Linux and Apache.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Strong understanding of backend development concepts, including RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.

- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code and following software design principles and design patterns.

- Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative tools like JIRA.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

- Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Codium for example is a plus.

- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- A dynamic candidate willing to learn new languages and frameworks.

Experience :

- Strong knowledge of LAMP and Node JS with an ability to write high-performance and maintainable code.

- In depth knowledge of LAMP stack and modern frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.

- Good understanding of server-side templating languages.

- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5 and CSS3.

- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to identify and solve complex technical problems and find creative solutions to difficult challenges.

- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.

- Hands on with modern development tools and technologies such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, etc.
