Role  Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a WLAN Engineer located in Bengaluru. The WLAN Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing wireless LAN solutions and providing technical support to clients. Should have 5+ years of experience in wireless LAN design, implementation, and support.



Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in wireless LAN design, implementation, and support.
  • Extensive knowledge of wireless LAN technologies, including IEEE 802.11 standards, WLAN security protocols, and WLAN authentication protocols.
  • Experience in conducting Site Surveys, designing, configuring and troubleshooting complex wireless solutions.
  • Experience with WLAN equipment, vendors, and technologies such as Juniper, Meraki, Aruba, Cisco, and Ruckus wireless equipment.
  • Experience in linux device drivers, debugging bootloaders and kernel.
  • Demonstrated expertise in networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS, IPSec, VPNs, and NAT.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
