● AWS Services: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with various AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.

● Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.

● Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, subnetting, routing, VPN, and Direct Connect.

● Security: Experience implementing security best practices and compliance standards on AWS, including IAM policies, encryption, security groups, and monitoring tools like AWS CloudTrail and AWS Config.

● Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation of repetitive tasks and infrastructure management.

● Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudWatch Logs, and third-party solutions for monitoring system performance, resource utilization, and application logs.

● Databases: Understanding of AWS database services like RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, and knowledge of database management and optimization.

● DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or AWS Code Pipeline.

● Containerization and Orchestration: Familiarity with Docker containers and container orchestration platforms such as Amazon ECS or Kubernetes.

● Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.

Insight Global is looking for an AWS Engineer to join the team of a payment processor company and will be responsible for designing, building, and managing cloud-based applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities:

● Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

● Deploy and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based services and applications.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions on AWS.

● Develop automation scripts and tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud resources.

● Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies to ensure high availability and efficiency.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, network, and security.

● Stay updated with the latest AWS services, best practices, and industry trends.

● Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for critical incidents.
