We are seeking a highly skilled Native Android Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin, a deep understanding of Android SDK, and experience in integrating backend APIs, UI/UX implementation, and performance optimization.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced Android applications using Java/Kotlin.
  • Work with the product and design team to translate requirements into high-performing mobile apps.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party SDKs.
  • Ensure applications are optimized for performance, usability, and scalability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Implement security, offline caching, and data storage strategies.
  • Debug and fix issues, perform unit testing, and contribute to CI/CD processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android trends, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in native Android app development (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK.
  • Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Jetpack components.
  • Familiarity with MVVM/MVP/MVC architecture patterns.
  • Experience integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL), Firebase, and push notifications.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, memory management, and debugging tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
