Job Description :

We are seeking a talented SAP BTP CAPM Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have 4 to 7 years of experience as an ABAP developer with expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM).

You will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions using NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS, along with data modeling in CAP using CDS (Core Data Services).

Experience in OData V4 service development in CAP using NodeJS is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- ABAP Development : Leverage your ABAP development skills to enhance and customize SAP systems, ensuring smooth integration with BTP CAPM.

- BTP CAPM Expertise : Utilize your expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) to develop scalable and efficient solutions.

- NodeJS Development : Develop applications using NodeJS, ensuring high performance and reliability.

- Frontend Development : Collaborate with frontend developers to implement user-facing features using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.

- Data Modeling : Design and implement data models using CDS (Core Data Services) in CAP, including entities, types, and aspects.

- OData V4 Services : Develop OData V4 services in CAP using NodeJS to expose data and functionality to external applications.

- Managed and Unmanaged Business Objects : Implement managed or unmanaged business objects as per project requirements.

- Event Handling : Utilize NodeJS events for implementing event-driven architecture and handling asynchronous operations.

- Fiori Annotations : Apply Fiori annotations to enhance the UI and provide additional metadata to applications.

- Authorization Concept : Implement authorization concepts in BTP CAP to ensure data security and compliance.

- Integration with On-Premise Systems: Develop objects to connect with on-premise systems through OData services.

- HANA Cloud Artifacts : Create HANA Cloud Artifacts using Business Application Studio (BAS) to leverage the capabilities of SAP HANA Cloud.

- External API Calls : Make external API calls, manage responses, and integrate third-party services using tools like POSTMAN.

- Destination Creation : Configure destinations for connecting with external systems and services.

- Fiori/UI5 Development : Utilize Fiori and UI5 frameworks to develop modern and intuitive user interfaces for SAP applications.

- SAP API Business Hub : Utilize SAP API Business Hub for discovering, exploring, and consuming SAP APIs.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 4 to 7 years of experience as an ABAP developer with hands-on experience in SAP BTP CAPM.

- Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

- Strong experience in data modeling using CDS in CAP.

- Experience in developing OData V4 services in CAP using NodeJS.

- Knowledge of managed and unmanaged business objects.

- Familiarity with NodeJS events and Fiori annotations.

- Understanding of authorization concepts in BTP CAP.

- Experience in integrating with on-premise systems through OData services.

- Hands-on experience in creating HANA Cloud Artifacts using BAS.

- Experience in making external API calls and managing responses.

- Knowledge of destination creation, Fiori/UI5 development, and SAP API Business Hub.
