A Videographer is a highly skilled and creative professional who is responsible for filming or videotaping events, and ceremonies. An individual in this career is an expert in producing documentaries, short films, legal depositions, sporting events, advertisements and product demonstrations. The Videographer holds the art of storytelling through visuals and photography in a motion picture.The Videographer’s primary aim is to plan, direct, film and edit the video content as per the client's requirements for various media platforms. An individual is required to work closely with team members such as light operators, sound mixing and recording to produce video content. A Videographer is expected to make artistic and technical decisions related to the image. Videographer job duties and responsibilities include:●Filming video on set and on location●Working with creative teams and clients to plan video shoots●Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment●Editing footage after recording●Adding computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage●Preparing background filmDesired experience for videographer includes:●True passion for art, fashion, current trends, models and photography, and eager to bring inspiration to the team●Understanding of the “on-set” experience and working with a team to create the best video/product●Impressive portfolio of past work in the role of producer, director, and/or editor●Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure●Strong initiative and motivation to constantly experiment and improve upon each project●Self-motivator who can generate ideas for projects independently and collaboratively, and communicate those ideas effectively to the team while working under tight deadlines
