Senior Software Engineer –QA Engineer - Hyderabad, Telangana

We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer - QA with a desire to work on the Quality and Development of products.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation toolsets, automation plans and test cases for Informatica Application Integration products and solutions. You shall be responsible for developing a REST-based automation framework, conducting functional and concurrency tests with efficient usage of automation tools and API testing. This role will work with Program Managers, Product Architects, Product Managers, Dev and QA engineers on a day to day basis in designing and building Automation testing components as well as in testing the product features.

You will be based in our office in Hyderabad, India

You will report to the Manager, Development

You will responsible for ensuring quality of API Management and Governance products under IPaaS business unit.

Technology You'll Use

Core JAVA, Selenium, REST, SOAP, TestNG, JMeter, API Testing tools, Linux , AWS, Azure and GCP ,Experience on RDBMS; preferably MYSQL

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

The successful candidate will be based in Hyderabad, INDIA and will be responsible for:

Review requirements, design documents to create test scenarios and test cases Design and build automation tools that will be used to automate testing for our product Automate backend and UI test cases and continuously improve automation coverage and code coverage Contribute to the team initiatives in improving testing processes and practices Execute test cases as per the test plan and provide status report on execution progress Isolate and report bugs and track them to closure

What We'd Like to See

Tech or M.Tech in computer science or related field. 4–6 years of enterprise software product experience in testing and automation Experience developing test automation using Java, Selenium and Rest Assured a must Experience working on Linux/Unix environment Understanding of SOAP and REST-based APIs testing Prior exposure to performance testing and security testing would be nice to have Working knowledge of cloud infrastructures Experience in technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP technologies Hands-on experience working with Dockers/Containers/Kubernetes/Spinnaker/Jenkins. Hands-on experience writing SQL for relational databases (Like MySQL, and Oracle). Experience with technologies like Tomcat, Ant/Maven/Gradle. Exposure to Log Management and creating dashboards in any one of the tools like Kibana or Grafana cloud. Proven ability to work well with others in a fast paced, iterative product definition and development environment Fast learner, able to pick up new ideas and approaches quickly; enjoys brainstorming on design and loves problem solving with a strong focus on teamwork Good communication skills, both written and verbal Able to work independently with little direct supervision and take initiative; willing to mentor and develop others Ability to react quickly to changing requirements due to product limitations or driven by enterprise needs
