Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced JavaScript Engineer/Developer with expertise in the building applications in JavaScript and  Esri ArcGIS JavaScript API  and a strong background in building scalable web applications. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of spatial data visualization and GIS technologies. You will work on developing dynamic mapping solutions and web applications that serve to visualize, analyse, and manage geospatial data.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain interactive, user-friendly web applications using  JavaScript ,  HTML , and  CSS .
Design and implement robust solutions utilizing the  Esri ArcGIS JavaScript API  to build high-performance mapping applications.
Work with various mapping libraries to integrate spatial data visualization features into applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement application features.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the applications are performing optimally and are highly reliable.
Engage in code reviews and mentorship for junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing across the team.
Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in JavaScript, GIS technologies, and web development.
What we are looking for
4+ years  of professional experience with  JavaScript/JQuery ,  HTML , and  CSS .
Understanding of  Esri ArcGIS JavaScript API.
Proven experience building and deploying  scalable web applications  with a focus on performance and user experience.
Hands-on experience with  mapping libraries  (e.g., Leaflet, Open Layers) and spatial data visualization techniques.
Proficiency in integrating  geospatial data  (shapefiles, GeoJSON, etc.) and working with spatial databases.
Solid understanding of  REST APIs  and experience working with web-based data sources.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
