The Category Manager for Healthcare Products will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and profitability of the healthcare product category at Ageasy by Antara. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, from sourcing and pricing to marketing, with a focus on delivering customer value and achieving business goals. The Category Manager will play a pivotal role in category management, vendor relationship management, and P&L responsibility for the healthcare product category, ensuring optimal performance in alignment with the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Category Strategy: Define and execute the strategy for the healthcare products category, focusing on growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the development and management of the product assortment, including product selection, SKU optimization, and lifecycle management.
- P&L Management: Own and manage the category's P&L, ensuring revenue targets, profitability, and margins are met.
- Business Development: Identify and develop strategic partnerships with vendors, manufacturers, and distributors to expand the product portfolio and enhance offerings.
- Pricing Strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
- Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and brand-building initiatives.
- Market & Consumer Insights: Leverage market research and customer insights to drive product development, optimize the product mix, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Vendor Management: Establish strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure efficient supply chain management for product procurement.
- Inventory Management: Work with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, reduce out-of-stocks, and manage lead times.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless category execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements:
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in category management, Experience in healthcare products, FMCG, retail, or e-commerce is preferred.
- Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of healthcare products, D2C marketplaces, and senior care needs.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- P&L Management: Proven track record of managing P&L, driving category profitability, and achieving revenue targets.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret market trends, sales data, and customer insights to drive decision-making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Vendor Negotiation: Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using data analytics tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
