Position Overview

The Account Head will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance . This role demands strong leadership, analytical expertise, and financial management skills .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & oversee daily accounting operations , including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger .
  • Prepare & analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements .
  • Develop & implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and internal controls.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for cost optimization & operational improvements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and ensure a smooth annual audit process.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the accounting team to maintain high-performance standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting & financial planning.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations & industry trends .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting with managerial responsibilities .
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles & tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) & Microsoft Office Suite .
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership & team management abilities .
  • Attention to detail with high accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Effective communication & collaboration skills.
