Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Designer with a strong background in AutoCAD and residential interior design. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing detailed 2D drawings and layouts for interior projects and working closely with the design and execution teams to bring concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD
  • Prepare working drawings, furniture layouts, electrical layouts, and other technical drawings
  • Coordinate with interior designers and site teams to ensure design accuracy
  • Revise drawings based on feedback from clients or senior designers
  • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and regulations
  • Assist in material specifications, BOQs, and project documentation
  • Maintain proper filing and archiving of drawings and design records

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in 2D drafting for residential interiors
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory
  • Knowledge of basic interior design principles and site coordination
  • Familiarity with residential interior standards and detailing
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience with other design tools
  • Basic understanding of 3D visualization (not mandatory)
