Role Overview We are seeking a freelance Biotech & Life Sciences Content Writer to collaborate with our team on a project basis. This is a flexible, remote freelance role where assignments vary based on client needs. Key Responsibilities Research and write accurate, well-sourced biotech and life sciences content across formats: Blog posts and thought-leadership articles White papers, research summaries, and case studies Web copy and landing pages Press releases, newsletters, and social media content Simplify highly technical or research-heavy topics for decision-makers, clinicians, or investors. Ensure factual accuracy and compliance with scientific standards and references. Align with SEO and digital marketing best practices for visibility and engagement. Collaborate with MDB’s content strategists and client teams to reflect brand tone and strategic goals. Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of experience writing in biotech, pharma, life sciences, or healthcare innovation . Demonstrated ability to write both technical and marketing content. Strong scientific literacy and comfort referencing peer-reviewed studies or white papers. Excellent storytelling, editing, and interviewing skills. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, clinical trials, and industry trends is a strong plus. Ability to manage deadlines and deliver error-free, compliant, and polished work. Personal Qualities Genuine passion for scientific progress and biotechnology innovation. Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and source credibility.
