Senior Accounts Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team as a "Senior Accounts Analyst". The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in accounting principles, taxation laws, and have excellent analytical skills. This role will be responsible for managing receivables and payables, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the finance team in various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and prepayments.- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.

Taxation:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).- Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.- Support in tax planning and advisory services.

Receivables & Payables Management:

- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.- Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of payables.- Conduct regular follow-ups with clients and vendors.

Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in accounting and taxation.

Qualifications:

- Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (completed CA Intermediate).- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation laws.- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).- Advanced MS Excel skills.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience:

- Freshers are welcome to apply for this role. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed their articleship at a reputed CA firm and have diverse experience in various fields of auditing and accounting.
