Our organization is a leading real estate and construction company. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Advocate with a keen interest in land litigation to join our legal team and contribute to our dynamic operations.

Role Overview

• Position: Junior Advocate
• Industry: Construction (Real Estate)
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Work Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Location: SB Road, Pune, Maharashtra.
• Joining Period: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Assist senior legal team members in various tasks as required.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and documentation, with a focus on land litigation.
• Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including:
• Legal notices and letters.
• Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), Sale Deeds, Agreements to Sell, Lease Agreements, and other property-related deeds.
• Flat Agreements compliant with MAHARERA regulations.
• Other real estate-related documents as per organizational needs.
• Prepare and document minutes of meetings.
• Perform due diligence tasks, including creating and verifying legal documents related to land transactions.
• Provide opinions and support on litigation matters, particularly those involving land disputes.
• Follow up on civil court cases, with an emphasis on land litigation, and coordinate with advocates on various suits.
• Maintain Management Information System (MIS) records for legal processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited law school or university, preferably with a specialization in real estate transactions or land litigation.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in legal practice, with a demonstrated interest in land litigation.
• Language Proficiency:
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Hindi, English, and Marathi (mandatory).
• Proficient in typing in English and Marathi (mandatory).
• Skills:
• Knowledge of drafting legal documents.
• Familiarity with real estate laws, land litigation, and documentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for due diligence and MIS maintenance.
• Ability to provide litigation support and follow up on civil court cases, especially land-related disputes.
