Senior Business Analyst

Description We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in SAP BW to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in gathering and documenting business requirements, collaborating with both client/business stakeholders and development teams, and providing valuable insights throughout the SDLC. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and work on dynamic projects in the Business and Data Analysis domain. #LI-DNI Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements for SAP BW projects Collaborate with client/business stakeholders and development teams throughout the SDLC Provide insights and support for acceptance testing, test scenario reviews, and conflict resolution Work on E2E traceability and feature/epic description using project/change management tools Utilize expertise in BW components for analysis, reporting, and real-time analytics Contribute to the successful implementation, upgrade, rollout, support, or testing of BW projects Document requirements using project management tools and ensure E2E traceability Engage with business and cross-functional teams to ensure project success Requirements 6-9 years of experience in Business and Data Analysis, with a focus on SAP BW Proven experience as a liaison between development and business partners in SDLC projects Direct engagement with client/business stakeholders for requirements elicitation, proposing functional solutions, and supporting acceptance testing Direct engagement with development stakeholders for requirements feasibility discussion, ambiguity resolution, and test scenario review Proficiency in documenting software system requirements and management with E2E traceability using project/change management tools Experience in Agile frameworks such as SCRUM, Kanban, Scrum Ban, or SAFe Expertise in BW components like OLAP analysis, multi-dimensional reports, dynamic dashboards, and forecasting tools Experience in BW projects including implementation, upgrade, rollout, support, or testing Ability to collect business requirements and document them in project management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira Desirable configuration experience in BW and the ability to work on configurations if required Previous interaction with business teams, Solution Architect teams, and cross-functional teams Knowledge of other SAP Analytics applications like BO or BW on Hana or BOBJ or SAC is an added advantage B2+ English level Nice to have Experience in leading domains like BFSI, Insurance, Payments, Healthcare, LifeSciences, ECOMM, Supply Chain Experience in technical stacks of the project, such as DB & backend services, ETL processes, API & Web Services, Batch Jobs, Notifications and Subscriptions, Message Queues Some experience in Scrum Master or Project Manager activities, and onsite client location experience Experience in Software Development and/or Testing We offer Opportunity to work on technical challenges that may impact across geographies Vast opportunities for self-development: online university, knowledge sharing opportunities globally, learning opportunities through external certifications Opportunity to share your ideas on international platforms Sponsored Tech Talks & Hackathons Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions Possibility to relocate to any EPAM office for short and long-term projects Focused individual development Benefit package: Health benefits Retirement benefits Paid time off Flexible benefits Forums to explore beyond work passion (CSR, photography, painting, sports, etc.)
