Job Description

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead and manage the digital operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Demonstrate strong leadership in a complex, geographically dispersed environment, ensuring alignment with organisational values and goals. Cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset within the team, encouraging proactive problem-solving and business acumen.


Strategy and Planning:

Collaborate with global stakeholders to develop a comprehensive road-map for digital initiatives aligned with business objectives. Drive simplification and optimisation of daily activities and tools across manufacturing domains, including procurement, operations, and final assembly.


Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:

Establish transparent communication channels with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and business needs. Build strong relationships with customer-facing and enabling functions, gaining insights into future directions and requirements.


Project Management and Execution:

Oversee the execution of digital projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards. Mitigate risks through proactive planning and effective project management methodologies.


Budget Management:

Take ownership of budget management for digital operations initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.


Performance Evaluation and Talent Development:

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Identify opportunities for skills enhancement and career progression, aligning individual goals with organisational objectives.


Continuous Improvement:

Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and best practices in digital manufacturing processes. Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending strategic investments to maintain competitive advantage.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should possess a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving digital transformation with ERP (SAP) as the backbone in manufacturing environments. Strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting, competencies such as SAP proficiency, PMP are essential for success in this role.
