Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team in ensuring the highest software development and deployment quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques, and management, with a proven track record of leading successful QA teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures, including testing standards, tools, and processes.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and testers to ensure efficient and effective testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate quality assurance processes throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the inspection and testing of software to ensure adherence to company quality standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze data from software tests to identify areas for improvement in software reliability and performance.
  • Communicate testing results and feedback to development teams and senior management.
  • Coordinate with product management and customer support teams to enhance product quality and user experience.
  • Manage the development and maintenance of automated testing infrastructure and tools.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive test documentation.
  • Monitor and control resources, budgeting, and staffing for the QA department.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and implement best practices to continuously improve the quality assurance process.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, QTP).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced Level, CSTE, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a healthcare or related field, particularly in environments with high regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
