eCommerce Data Analyst

Our company specializes in building successful eCommerce brands across Amazon, Shopify, and Walmart. We are looking for a high-performing, motivated individual to provide analytical support to our growing eCommerce team.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have experience delivering senior management-level reporting. Problem-solving, data mining, and the ability to communicate complex data in a seamless way is necessary skill set. Familiarity with Amazon and Shopify seller account data and reporting is highly preferred.
Location: Remote; Time Zone: Hours will be based on EST/PST time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible to generate, maintain, consolidate, and track various Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly eCommerce activities.
- Proactively interact with multiple internal/external stakeholders on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the preparation of MIS reports.
- Collect, identify patterns/trends, evaluate/interpret data that includes inventory, sales, rankings, supply chain, P&Ls to support senior management in decision-making.
- Track, report and analyze online metrics including, but not limited to traffic, conversions, homepages, landing pages, on-site demographics, break-even, platform performance, customer purchase analysis (Repeat, retention & increase purchase frequency), and bounce rate by page.
- Conduct shopping funnels analysis and reporting to inform new technical projects that will result in conversion improvements.
- Capture daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly eCommerce KPIs and analyze trends over time.
- Perform deep-dive analysis into our key KPIs to understand the why of our customer's behavior.
- Create documentation/SOP of all the reports for smooth operation and easy report maintenance.
- Implement automation to reduce the manual effort on reporting, where possible.
- Understand management problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Ideal candidate skills:
- Advanced excel and data manipulation skills are mandatory (Any certification would be an added advantage). Strong with basic functions such as IF, Is number, Countif, AverageIF, Lookup, V-Lookup, H-Lookup, XLookup, Pivot Tables, Dashboards, Index, Match etc.
- Communication skills (both written and verbal) are superb.
- Experience with Amazon seller central and Shopify data will give you a strong advantage.
- Takes an analytical approach to problem-solving which means the ability to analyze, model, and interpret data.
- Ability to set goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experienced with data extraction and dashboard management.
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in an MIS/data analyst position with experience putting together and presenting reports for senior management
- 3+ years proven data analyst experience, preferably serving a US or UK based company
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Bachelor’s degree
