Key Responsibilities :

1. GCP Infrastructure Management :

- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and cost-effective GCP infrastructure solutions.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and management.

2. GCP Services Expertise :

- Extensive knowledge of all Google Cloud Platform products and services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.

- Optimize and fine-tune GCP services to meet performance and cost-efficiency goals.

3. CI/CD Pipeline Development :

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

- Automate testing, deployment, and rollback processes.

4. Monitoring and Logging :

- Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Stackdriver or Prometheus and Grafana.

- Create alerts and dashboards to ensure system health and performance.

5. Security and Compliance :

- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

6. Collaboration and Documentation :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and system administrators.

- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

7. Troubleshooting and Optimization :

- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.

- Continuously optimize and improve the GCP environment for performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 5 to 9 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.

- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) development.

- Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

- In-depth knowledge of GCP products and services.

- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python).

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification is a plus
