Our solutions are focused on modern technologies and are enabled by a scientific, data-driven system called Decision Mines for Digital ExcellenceThe Gen AI Lead Engineer is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of Generative AI–powered solutions. The role demands strong coding background along with technical expertise in AI/ML systems, LLM integration, and cloud-native engineering practices with strong leadership in guiding teams through execution. The Technical Lead ensures high-quality, scalable, and production-ready Gen AI implementations aligned with business and product objectives.Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end design and development of Gen AI applications and intelligent systems, from prototype to production.- Drive hands-on implementation using frameworks such as Lang Chain, Amazon Bedrock, and Open AI models (GPT series, embeddings, fine-tuning, etc.).- Apply prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures to build robust, context-aware AI solutions.- Implement and enforce engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, observability, and security gates.- Ensure production readiness - covering monitoring, instrumentation, model evaluation, and performance optimization.- Collaborate with seniors and engineers to define system architecture, data pipelines, and integration patterns for Gen AI workloads.- Guide and mentor engineers within the team; conduct code reviews and technical design sessions.- Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, measurable technical deliverables.- Stay current with emerging trends in Gen AI, LLM orchestration, and cloud AI services (preferably), bringing new ideas into practice.Key Skills & Experience:- 7–10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 1+ years in Gen AI systems.- Proficiency in Python and practical experience working with Open AI, Anthropic, or Bedrock APIs for LLM-based solution development.- Strong understanding of system design, and API integration.- Must have experience with modern Dev Ops practices (CI/CD, containerization, observability).- Good to have hands-on experience with one of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)- Exposure to vector databases, embedding models, and prompt optimization techniques.- Ability to lead a small team or pod of engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
