Values : Do the right thing, Service to others, Mutual Respect, Always Getting Better, Quality Position Overview The Audit Associate II provides valuable and quality assistance in the audit process from planning to execution of audits. In this role, you will provide services to our financial services group (private Equity/ Alternative Investments) or Real Estate or Manufacturing & Distribution industries. As a member of the Audit practice, the Audit Associate II will have ownership in various tasks including planning the audit process, researching, reviewing current processes, and providing recommendations to enhance company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Identify issues and applies accounting principles/auditing procedures. Work on multiple engagements simultaneously Prepare clear, concise, and neat work-papers with definitive conclusions as well as meaningful and well-written recommendations for inclusion in client correspondence. Develop positive working relationships with all clients, demonstrating a proactive interest in understanding their business needs. Always maintain confidentiality. Display exemplary work habits when communicating with clients. Become effective part of client service team by developing connections with others. Respond to clients in timely manner as promised. Comply with firm’s practice management procedures/systems. Anticipate problems/issues and keep senior/manager informed of engagement status; notify senior/manager when billable hours will exceed or be under budget. Ask for timely feedback and assistance. Participate in training and mentoring of new associates. Other duties as assigned. Requirements MBA/ MCom graduates with 2-4 years of audit experience (U.S. audit experience preferred) Significant progress in CA/ CPA is preferred, but not mandatory Strong time and work management skills Ability to work in a team environment Strong oral and written communication skills; effective listening skills Effective analytical and problem-solving ability Experience with CaseWare/ Inflow preferred Working Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is expected to work in our office. Flexibility is granted to employees to work remotely on an as-needed basis. Position Type / Expected Billable Hours of Work Non-Busy Season / 40 hours per week. Busy Season / 55-60 hours per week.
