Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager with 8–10 years of proven expertise in direct business generation (excluding Upwork/Fiverr). The candidate must have an excellent track record in driving organic sales through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold outreach, and client networking. This role requires a strategic thinker and strong communicator who can bring in new business opportunities, build long-term client relationships, and lead the company's growth efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive direct international business generation through organic channels (LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, networking).
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of BDEs/BDMs for pipeline building and closures.
- Identify new markets, build relationships with potential clients, and expand the customer base.
- Manage end-to-end client communication, proposal drafting, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, delivery, and management) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Track sales performance, analyze trends, and provide regular business reports to management.
- Represent the organization in client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in direct business development for IT services/software solutions.
- Proven expertise in organic business generation (excluding freelancing platforms).
- Strong hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, and CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to lead business development initiatives independently and as a team leader.
- A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Good to Have
- Experience in international markets (US, UK, Europe, Middle East).
- Knowledge of IT project lifecycles and delivery models.
- Prior leadership experience in managing sales teams.
