Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Professional based in Dehradun with a strong background in sales to identify new opportunities, build client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hunter mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for growing business through partnerships, lead generation, and innovative sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and research potential clients, markets, and partnership opportunities in and around Dehradun and beyond.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Sales & Relationship Management:
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demos to close deals.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to meet sales goals.
- Strategic Growth Initiatives:
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to support sales and client onboarding.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the customer base and enter new markets.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Track progress through CRM systems and provide regular reports on sales activity and pipeline health.
- Provide feedback and insights to improve products, services, and processes.
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong ability to identify new business opportunities and close high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
