The qualified candidate will join Intel Flex India as a System Software development Engineer and will have opportunities to participate in a variety of projects as part of product development or research. The focus of this position will be on system-level software development, in areas such as Embedded software within environments that have constrained timing and memory resources, designs and implements reusable code, performs design and code reviews, as well as tests and validates product implementations. Job may require experience in system architecture and modeling, operating systems, device architecture, system integration, algorithm modeling, digital signal processing, or hardware design. Works with a variety of storage interface standards. Performs system level design modeling, and systems integration, additionally performing algorithm modeling, benchmarking implementation, and digital signal processing.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: �Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 8+ years of below work experience or equivalent academic experience. �Experience in the development of embedded firmware, FPGA, Simics, device drivers and BIOS.�C/C++ programming, data structures, algorithms and Operating Systems �Version control and continuous integration tools (GIT, GITHUB, SVN, etc) Advanced English Level �Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in India Familiarity with Intel processor architecture- Experience in development of legacy BIOS such as Phoenix, AMI experience with UEFI, EDK, Tiano cores- Experience with Open Source methodology and development philosophy, including their source code architecture Coreboot ,slim boot etc- Experience with FSP, Firmware support package API, dispatch modes.- Experience working with Intel CPUs, memory controllers, IO Hubs, Power management and PC architecture- Experience with industry specifications such as PCI, ACPI, DDR ,IPMI,SMBIOS etc- Experience in direct FW development, C programming in an embedded context with constrained resources- Experience with Intel x86 Assembly Language- Experience in PC assembly building skills- Experience with PC architecture- Experience with debug and technical problem solving- Low level debugging experience using ITP tool- Experience with Simics knowledge. Preferred Qualifications: �Embedded systems, microcontrollers, and CPU architecture. �Python �RTOS Kernels, multi-threading programming, memory, and resource management. �Hardware low-level components such as I/O's, interrupts, network communication protocols. �FPGA, (System)Verilog/VHDL, OpenCL or RTL Design �Cloud Solutions/Infrastructure experience/knowledge (Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS, etc.) �Machine learning and computer vision

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
