Who We Daytona Systems India Private limited ( established in 2016, is a fully owned subsidiary of Daytona Technologies , a Mauritius based organization, limited by shares.
Daytona Systems & Daytona Technologies, both are subsidiaries of original parent company, Hello Group ( //hellogroup.co.za), established in 2005 in Centurion, South Africa and having other offices at UK & Dubai.
With own self - sustaining products, Daytona Systems is one of the extremely rare players in Bangalore that operates in international Banking, Money remittance & Ecom help millions of migrants walk in our footsteps. We are known to imagine & deliver products, in the international money remittance business, those defy international boundaries & bring people closer. Through a host of apps like Hello Money, Hello Paisa & our own banking system, the later launched in South Africa in January 2019, we allow millions of migrant workers based in Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia and various countries of Africa transfer money with latest technology in the background of apps and minimal hassle faced by the user.
Also the company has started its venture into e-com domain in Zimbabwe, Malawi & South Africa (Malaicha.com) with the aim of delivering groceries in a hassle free manner at customer doorsteps.
Position - Java Developer
Reporting to - Team Lead
Location - HSR Layout, Bangalore
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the design, coding, unit testing and documentation of software components and features.
- Work with the software engineering team to meet deliverables & do full lifecycle application development
- Receive instructions and guidance from mentor regarding required tasks and expected results.
- Fully embedded in fast-paced software agile development teams. Participate in sprint planning, demos and daily scrum activities.

- Extract and reverse engineer existing code, Participate in software modeling and simulation
Mandatory Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other comparable engineering degree
- Candidates with degree in mechanical, electrical or equivalent need not to apply
Technical Skills :
Mandatory Tech Skills :
- 1-3 year of experience working on Core Java/JEE
- 1 -3 year of experience using Spring MVC, Spring Boot
- Hands on with experience on Web Services using REST, JSON
- Hands on experience with Hibernate, JDBC, JSP & Servlets
- Experience developing web applications (Spring MVC, RESTful, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Web Services)
- Experience using database queries
- Solid experience in coding, unit testing and debugging
- Experience with micro-services Architecture.
- Experience working in Agile development environment
- Good understanding of Data Structure & Algorithms
